Like I’ve said before (I think), I love lip colors. I have something like thirty languishing around, and no lie, I end up wearing most of them. I have about four of the Outlast All-Day sticks (which means I actually have eight), and I really only have one complaint.

When you put on the actual color, it is pretty sticky – that is, it dries sticky. However, that’s what that little clear stick is for. I love that thing! The topcoat is so amazing that I often wear it by itself, or with other lipsticks. With his particular product, though, it really does take away that kind of dry stickiness, gives your lips a gorgeous sheen, and makes the color stand out that much more.

Now, Covergirl is always making exuberant claims about the Outlast products. They say this one lasts 16 hours. I’ve never really timed it, but honestly? That’s about right. You’ll even be wearing this the morning after – and it won’t rub off for anything, so invest in a good makeup remover or cold cream! One warning, though: the colors tend to go on a little darker than they look, so keep that in mind.
